Places of interest include, Berkeley Castle, The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucester Docks, Racing at Cheltenham, Chepstow and Bath, Polo Clubs at Cirencester and Westonbirt (Beaufort). Excellent walking country, (the Severn Way) and Cycle Route 41, and near to many gardens open to the public.

The village is a designated Conservation area noted for its outstanding natural beauty, and acknowledged as one of the prettiest villages in the Severn Vale.

A wide variety of architectural influences from mediaeval cottages to the elegant Georgian constructions are to be found in our village giving it an intriguing character all of its own.

Footpaths criss cross most fields, some leading to the Gloucester/Sharpness canal on which narrow boats are moored and past the 13th Century Church which looks over the canal and beyond to the River Severn.
